I used Revival Control this year for my display. I found if to be a great product for the price. The customer support is excellent. Having to attach your own plugs is really not a big deal. I found 6 ft indoor extension cords at home depot for $ 0.99 a piece. I used all forty channels (8,000) lights and only had a few problems (all of which were my fault) I blew the breaker a few times because while I was in the early stages of building the display I was trying to use only one circuit. I had to run another outlet from the breaker box (not a big deal) Other than that, the controller worked great. The software is not as streamlined looking as the LOR software, but it works well. I did not have any problems with it (that were not my fault lol). Overall I thought the system was very easy to understand and to use. I am 17 years old and this was my first go at a light display. If I could do it, so can you! Good Luck

First off, I am not a geek by any means. So I bought the revival light controller because I wanted a controller not limited to they "other companies" music. With revival I setup my music and design the sequence. Like I said I’m no geek so I had problems. All of my problems were solved with just a phone call. The tech. support is second to none. I call or E-mail a question and within minutes receive an answer or phone call. I have several sequences saved now like the wife, kids and neighbors love it. It’s great fun.
